Shortly after buying my 2004 Corvette, the driver’s side headlamp started making an awful loud grinding noise when closing. I bought this motor and then had it replaced by Pep Boys. They had no issues doing it and it works perfectly good. Opens and closes at the same speed as the passenger side (passenger side was not changed). I just had this done so I can’t comment on longevity, but seems like a pretty good buy. Will buy the right side motor if that one goes out later on.

No problem at all - was already installing a led light kit so was only two more screws to change the motor. Rebuilt my other one no for a spare. Great purchase.NOTE - the plugs do pop out so you need to make sure they don't back out when you connect them.

This is the 2nd one I've bought. It only lasted 3 days! Absolutely junk! Going to try bumper to bumper auto parts instead!UPDATE! Turns out the problem was not the motor, but the bump stop! My bad.

Great motors. I also grabbed the brass gear kit and swapped the gears. Was supper easy to unscrew the 3 screws.Kudos to the manufacturer—unlike OEM motors—for making the connectors different colour. BUT, I found it hard to find any info on which one is which, so annoyingly still ended up hooking up the battery back and testing the connectors, mid-assembly. Mine were: white = lowbeam (outer), blue = highbeam (inner).

These replacement motors have plastic pins that do not wear well. My left one failed just four months after it was installed; the warranty from Amazon is only for 30 days.
