Pan was well-made, thick metal with stiffening ribs pressed in. This fit my 2010 ram 1500 5 speed transmission perfectly. Includes a magnetic drain plug which the OEM pan did not. It should last the life of the truck.

you need to read all info as this is for the 6 speed transmission for the 5.7 liter 1500 went on perfect no leaks will post back if it rusts to quick

Price is ok, the shipping is stupid and they lie about arrival time. I had a customer who was in a hotel room waiting for the part and it didn't show so they are still stuck in the hotel waiting.

I bought this to replace my transmission pan on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7l V8 because of the brand and it has a drain plug. My Jeep requires the transmission fluid to be drained and refilled (with filters replaced) every 30,000 miles and this will help reduce the mess doing that service. I know I'm being optimistic that my Jeep will last another 30,000 miles but I was doing the service anyway, so why not replace it with this one. I used RTV instead of the gasket that came with this pan as many 4.7 WJ owners recommend this over the gasket. So far, no leaks!

The pan was a nice unit, looked to be made well, bolt holes all lined up however the pan was about 1/2 inch too shallow on the shallow side to bolt on. The system stated it would fit my Truck but the unit looked to be for the 4x4 transmission. Did not fit correctly on 05 Ram 1500 4x2 4.7L motor. I still give it 5 stars since the pan appeared to be well made and the seller took it back as a return with no issues.
