We had looked for quite a while to find a lid for our fire pit that was made of well made and added to attractiveness of our new fire pit. We are SO pleased with Apromise fire pit lid. This lid delivered everything the website promised. The high quality material not only adds to its functionality of protecting in wind and rain, but also is a beautiful accent when not using the fire pit. Looked quite awhile for a quality fire pit cover. Finally came across the Apromise Fire Pit Lid. Most fire pit lids have the lower edge of the lid welded on, which, in my opinion, is not aesthetically pleasing and rather unsightly. The Apromise Lid is formed of one piece of stainless steel which, I assume is stamped, or molded in some type of press. The overall impression is one of a cover that doesn’t detract from the fire pit. It is heavy enough to not fly off in a strong wind and keeps dust and rain off of the glass media. It’s obviously a quality design.

I used to use a blue plastic kiddie pool as my hardscape firepit cover for probably half a decade. Don't ask me why other than I never thought of researching or considering an alternative such as a metal cover. But I've had this cover for about 45days now and have no complaints. Setup was relatively simple, you're required to screw 2 bolts into the underside of the cover in order to install the handle. As dictated by decently understable printed instructions should you need them. Not quite sure what or why some of the other review complaints are pointing toward this task being cumbersome or problematic. Other than that, it's been placed and covers a minimum of 38'' pit circumference pretty well. Mine has also been thru several rain downpours already and this thing has been shiny & resilient with no blemishes or rusting on eitherside & surface edges. Will update if anything changes qualitywise. Highly recommended, solid buy if you need a sturdy stone or hardware firepit cover now.
