Very nice quality read it fit duramaxs. However maybe it's just the newer ones, about 5 or 6 inches shorter than my lml one.

While this product is a perfect match for my son’s 2002 GMC Duramax, it doesn’t feel to be of OEM quality. That being said, it’s a fraction of getting one from the dealer. It fits correctly, so we’ll see how long it lasts.

Assembled in China. This fits and accurately indicates oil level in my '05 Chevy Duramax 6.6 Diesel truck. Although it does not move as smoothly in the dipstick tube as the OEM part so - 1 star. Description says Duramax and includes the Duramax dipstick part # 97287502, but it's not a GM part. Although it seems well made. Description also says 6.1 6.0 6.4 8.1 which I presume indicate motors of different displacements. I don't believe it will fit other GM motors as this part number is specific for '01 through '06 and '07 classic Duramaxes. At about $25 it's half the price of theGM part so I'm happy with the purchase. Time will tell if it holds up as well or better than the OEM.
