By utilizing a 26” spherical design, the Lantern spreads the light from your LED or Studio Strobe in all directions with a 270° beam angle.

With its tension-based quick release frame, the Lantern can be set up or broken down in just a few seconds, allowing you to set up fewer lights, faster.

With the ability to fit onto any Bowens mount Studio Strobe or LED fixtures, such as our LS 300, LS 600 series lights, amaran 100/200 series, and amaran 150c,amaran 300c, the Lantern is the perfect photo or video accessory for casting soft light over a wide area, while still maintaining control.
ART OF CONTROL
The Aputure Lantern is one of the only spherical softboxes on the market with a 4-section fully adjustable light control skirt. By using a hook-and-loop design, the removable skirts can attach in any position, to quickly and precisely control your soft light.

I like how easy it is to set this up, it expands easily and breaks down easily as well. I used the Amaran 300C with it and the output is great for backlights

Since buying it, I neglect my other softboxes. It does a great job shaping faces and the relatively small size makes it easy to transport. If you’re on the fence, give it a try it may be just what you’re looking for.

I absolutely enjoy using this softbox. Personally I think it's adorable looking but it takes up little room. The diffuser light is so soft and dreamy. Thank you Think Media for your YouTube videos. You turned me on two great choices for my new studio. I would suggest this product to anyone with setting up a studio or want something easy to transport. It comes with a real nice duffle bag too!

I have many other Aputure light modifiers, this lantern really lights a space. It evenly lights and is compact enough for smaller spaces. Highly recommended.
