The hose is perfect for my aquarium. Very flexible but durable. You can’t beat the price either.

This is a great deal for the money. This is very flexible, and should last many years. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. 300' of this tubing should last me the rest of my life!

My husband is a fish nerd. He has multiple tanks. He just set up a continuous air system for all of his tanks. The effects were immeasurable. He had been previously purchasing his line 10 ft at a time at great expense. This turned out to be about 12.5 cents per foot.

At first, I liked the relative flexibility of this airline tubing. I find that many similar products are rigid to the point where it can be difficult to even connect components (check valves, air pumps, etc.) very securely, as the tubing just doesn’t seem to want to go on to and of the pieces being connected. However, after several months of use, I can confidently say I would not buy this product ever again, for two primary reasons. The first reason is that the tubing is more “frosted” looking than competitor products, which seem to have greater translucence and more sheen or shellac. This wouldn’t be a problem except for the fact that, with seemingly greater porosity than competitor products, various chemicals added to the water over the course of keeping fish seem to permanently stain this tubing far more than anything observed in competitor products. Further, the second reason I would not purchase this product again is the fact that the aforementioned lack of rigidity to this tubing ultimately reveals itself to be a negative quality, with a few months’ time apparently subsuming whatever minimal firmness lies in this material, such that the tubing is no longer able to hold onto anything connected to it and check valves start falling out. Thus, it has now become an unwelcome part of my daily routine to walk around to 16 different tanks currently using this tubing and check all 32 of the corresponding connection points that are prone to coming loose and popping off. It likely won’t be soon before long until I’ll have had enough of this and will just start replacing the tubing on every tank using a competitor product. Reaching that point when this tubing has been on all those tanks for less than a year (and on some of those tanks for as little as 6 months or less) is frustrating and completely unacceptable.

While this product gets the job done, it is much more flimsy than most airline tubes. I wouldn’t put it to an aerator that pushes a too much air, but it will get the job done for smaller projects. The flimsiness also makes it a bit difficult to attach to aerators, air stones, etc though it’s not impossible just keep an eye out for it popping off of the aerator itself. All in all, if you are looking to save a few bucks this will get the job done.

We bought a 300-foot roll to run airlines outside in a Koi pond. I found it very easy to work with as it goes onto standard aquarium vales easily, and stays on. It is soft, supple, and stretches around the valve stem easier than other tubing I have used. No problems with it kinking around 90 degree turns etc. Such a great low price for very good airline tubing. I would buy again.
