I bought this for my T1D son to hold his insulin pump without having to disconnect at the water park. I didnβt fully trust the pouch and wrapped the pump in plastic first. Heβs able to still see and use the touch screen through the pouch. At the end of the day, there was only a little moisture in the pouch. Weβve used it also with white water rafting and swimming and itβs held up very well. I wish it wasnβt so expensive, but it has helped.

I would give this case a 5 but it was difficult to get the pump in, tight fit. I have tandem tslim x2. And almost impossible to get it out after. The plastic grips the pump and it sticks like glue. I don't know what other people do to get it in and out. For such an expensive item I think that the fit should be better. I find it hard to believe that a medtronic pump would fit in here. It did keep my pump dry and I was able to access the controls but if I could I would return it simply because of the fit.

I ordered this product to bring with me on vacation in Mexico. It DID NOT seal up and my insulin pump got wet. There was no damage to the pump, luckily, but I did waste over $100 on the item. I contacted the company twice...as the company is listed as the seller. The company offered to send me a new product and acted as if they were not the amazon seller. I really wish I would not have spent the money on this product. It is so expensive to have diabetes and then to waste money on accessories that do not work and correspond with a company that has no compassion. I am VERY upset.

I wish I could say that I love this. I bought it to protect my insulin pump while swimming, and it does that okay. I have worn it probably 10 times at this point, and 2 of those times there was no water whatsoever inside the case. The other times, a little water and/or condensation always gets in. I make sure to put my insulin pump inside 2 sandwich baggies before putting it in the case. If this actually kept things water tight, it would be great for a type I diabetic who likes swimming. If you purchase this, don't use it without protecting your pump within the Aquapac as well.

I purchased this case to protect my wife's Medtronic 630G insulin pump while on an overseas beach vacation. Since we were far away from home and any possibility of repair or replacement of the pump, I wanted extra protection. The case performed well for incidental splashing and to protect from getting sand and salt on the device. There were a few instances where the case was very briefly submerged or splashed heavily and there was no leakage. We did not test completely submerging the pump in the case for any length of time, not wanting to take a chance on ruining our vacation. The flow of insulin was not affected by the use of the case. The screen was completely visible, and buttons were accessible through the case. This product definitely performed as advertised, was comfortable to wear around beach and pool, and gave peace of mind that extra protection was being given to the pump. The only issues we had were around getting the device in and out of the case. The fit is very tight around the pump, and got progressively more difficult to insert and remove over the course of the vacation. By the end of the week, I had to stretch the plastic to move the pump and was afraid I might damage it and leave the pump vulnerable. You will need to remove the belt clip to get the pump in at all. For our next trip, I think I will get the one of the larger wire-through cases from Aquapac. The case closure is very well designed and takes little force to close. The material the case is made of is far tougher than those advertised for cell phones, and gave us confidence in its protection. We feel it was well worth the price. I would definitely buy another waterproof case from Aquapac to protect critical, sensitive electronic devices.

Was a bit skeptical at first, but in the end I was very pleased. I had shied away from activities in the water ever since I became a diabetic. However, I spent 3-4 hours on the water in a kayak and did not have any issues. It was very easy to put my pump in this case and adjust to fit. Sat under my life vest without any issues. I put a paper towel in the case with the pump to absorb any condensation. When I removed the pump and paper towel, both were dry. I did not submerge it, so I can't say if it would have kept the water out. If you want to get back into water activities as a diabetic, this is worth the expense.

I love this thing!!! I was tired of having to take off my pump and swim/snorkel for an hour (if I'm lucky) and have to end the fun early just to hook back up. Not fun. But then, enter this wonderful device and all my hopes and dreams are met. This works wonderfully and it's minimalist design is not too bulky and easy to hide under a Tankini top or a pair of shorts. I tested this out on a recent family vacation to Hawaii and I wore it all day long, to multiple beaches and swimming pools, and not one drop of water disturbed my pump. It's so wonderful to be able to play in the water all day with my kids. Again, I LOVE THIS!!!

I went on holiday recently for the first time since I had my pump.I came across this product by chance, but I have to say, if you have an insulin pump then this is a must if you are planning on swimming or going to the beach.I did think before buying that it was a bit pricey for what it is, but it is a fantastic piece of kit.Two weeks of jumping in and out the pool as well as rolling around the beach with the kids, and my pump was perfectly protected.I didn't fancy having to take my pump on and off all the time, but with this, I just set temporary basals, popped my pump in the Aquapac and off I went. Not a single drop of water or sand came in contact with my pump the whole time I had it on.You can also operate the pump through the plastic bag, so don't have to take it off at all during the day.I clipped it at the front then put the pump bag bit either at my side or behind my back. It comes with a generous length of belt strap which is fully-adjustable.It didn't get in the way of my enjoyment at all, and I forgot I had it on apart from the first time I went down a flume with it at my back and managed to get a few scuffs on it. Next time I slid the Aquapac round to my side and problem was solved.I also used it in the shower while away, and would 100 per cent recommend this product. You can check out the Aquapac website, but I found even with postage, it was slightly cheaper here (As most things are!)If you are thinking about getting one, I would definitely say you should go ahead and do so - you won't be disappointed once you use it for the first time. Also found insulin delivery wasn't affected as far as I could tell, and my bloods were very good for most of the holiday.Back to the actual pump, I found that the silhouettes stayed on OK depending if they came into contact with sunscreen/sweat or depending how much I was jumping into the pool, but would suggest buying some sticking plasters to put over the entire sticky bit - that meant the cannula stayed in place perfectly, although I was left with a couple of strange rectangular non-tan marks! But a very small price to pay to be allowed the total freedom a non-pumper would have in regards to going swimming and to the beach. To conclude, I spent hours in the water with my two young kids, which I wouldn't have been able to do if I hadn't stumbled upon this amazing product, and not once was I concerned about my pump being at risk.BTW your pump provider should give you a spare pump to take as long as you contact them at least 4 weeks before you go, and I bought insurance for them both for less than a tenner for a month, which I have now cancelled, but had great peace of mind as they cost around Β£2.5K each. Google 'insulin pump insurer' as neither my travel insurance or home insurance would cover them while I was away.

Purchased this Aquapac to go on a day-long white-water rafting trip. I'm an active, Type 1 diabetic and have worn an insulin pump for about 10 years. On previous rafting trips, I've removed my pump rather than risk water damage. Thanks to the Aquapac, I was able to keep the pump on for the entire day - making for a healthier and happier trip.Found it very easy to place the pump in the pack and seal. There is a small notch for the tubing to feed through. The clear panel on the front allowed me to see the screen and use the buttons without having to open the sealed pack. After a day of rafting, which included jumping from rocks into the river and some swimming, there was only light condensation on the inside of the pack. The adjustable belt allowed me to wear the device comfortably and concealed.Would recommend testing out the set up / sealing procedure prior to going near the water. The fasteners move in a couple different directions and you want to be sure you know how to get the seal right!Highly recommend this product to any insulin pump user looking to enjoy time around the water.
