Sometimes snares break, and those sharp pieces of metal can poke holes into your thin snare head! By adhering a Snare-Strip directly to your snare side head (on the edge where the snares contact the head), you can prevent any broken wires from puncturing the film. You can also use these strips to repair any holes that are already there.

WE RUN THESE ON A 14" DW CHROME STEEL SHELL AND 14" DW BRASS. THE CHROME HAS DIE-CAST ON BOTH SIDES, BRASS ONLY BATTER, TO LET IT RING. IT CALMS THE OVERTONES AND ANY RESONANCE ON SNARE FROM OTHER DRUMS OR PLAYERS. WE DIDN'T JUST SEE "IF THEY SOUNDED GOOD" WE A-B THEM ON THE DAW. WE DONT RUN THEM ON LUDWIG PICCOLO AS IT KILLED THE SIGNATURE CRACK.QUICK SIMPLE INSTALL THAT WILL HOPEFULLY KEEP YOUR RESO HEAD FROM GETTING DAMGE FROM BEING PLAYED OR DURING TRANSPORTATION. WE'LL GET A SET TO PUT IN "DRUMMERS EMERGENCY KIT" AD YOU CAN USE THESE FOR REPAIR DURING A GIG. YEAH WE'VE POPPED A HEAD DURING SOUNDCHECK AND HAD ALREADY GIVEN A FRIEND THE SPARE HEAD IN ROAD CASEONE PARTING NOTE: CONSIDER THE HEADS THAT COME FROM SAME MANUFACTURER PRE-INSTALLED. THEY ARE ON THE INSIDE (AIR SIDE, NOT SNARE SIDE) OF THOSE HEADS, SO THAT MIGHT INFLUENCE YOUR DECISION.
