I thought this filter wasn't cut. Then my wife told me it was cut and all I had to do was pop out the cut piece and the hole that I needed was right there. So, what do I say? Good product but a not so smart and embarrassed purchaser.

Fits perfectly. My only issue is mostly my own fault. I didn’t realize there was already a cutout for the pipe till I had started carving a cutout on the other side. It was well disguised. It really has helped improve the water flow.

I bought this knowing I would have to cut it to size to fit my skimmer. The material is kind of crumbly when you cut it (using a heavy duty shears) but it will work. The precut hole is located close to one side and is small. I will have to cut a new one to go around my pump. For the price, it's OK.

I have been using the mat for a while now, and happy to report its working great. its a heavy mat that holds its shape in the skimmer, and between washings. I have a fairly large established pone, and due to the thickness of the mat, i find i have to wash it weekly. Some times it seems to need it a bit more often. I like the little hole in the top which offers overflow for when the mat gets a bit clogged. Helps keep some water around the pump - which i am sure is better than letting it run dry. Will definitely buy again when i need another replacement

3700 gallons pass through this pre-filter every hour. Twenty two hours for each day @seven days a week. Clean every seven days and you will have a great looking pond clarity (debris particles). But do not forget your chemistry, bio-balls, Bio-Filter and the right sized UV lamp.
