  • Hard water, common in the U.S., has high levels of minerals such as calcium and magnesium causing scale buildup on pipes, appliances, and soap scum, reducing efficiency and lifespan. A water softener can remove hard minerals and prevent these issues.

  • A water softener can remove hard minerals but doesn't eliminate other impurities, contaminants, or certain dissolved substances. An RO system plays a complementary role by removing toxins from your tap water into purified, better tasting water.

  • Aquasure’s RO system is designed to remove over 1000+ of harmful water contaminants such as total dissolved solids (TDS), chemicals, bacteria, viruses, lead, arsenic, fluoride, chlorine, and other impurities commonly found in water.

  • It is recommended to replace Stage 1 Sediment, Stage 2 Carbon filters every 6-12 months and Stage 3 RO Membrane and Stage 4 Post Carbon filters every 18-24 months, depending on usage and water quality.

  • Yes, regular maintenance is essential to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the systems. This includes periodic cleaning and filter replacements.

I never leave a review, but this morning, after my husband installed our new softener over the weekend, I called customer service to help me set it for our water hardness. I was able to find the number in the owner’s manual, and was routed quickly and answered immediately. The customer service agent was professional and courteous, spoke perfect English, and walked me through it efficiently. Our water quality improved immediately after installation. Our old system was probably bad for a while! We live in a very hard water area, and our water tastes great even before we have installed the RO.

Old water softner needed replacement. Bought this kit with the reverse osmosis. Both were easy to install, although I had to make some modifications to the existing plumbing for the softner due to adding a two stage whole house filtration system(non Aquasure).Water is nice and soft again and the softner is easy to calibrate and setup. The RO makes good clean drinking water.I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I recently had my Aquasure Water Softener and Reverse Osmosis system installed and I am impressed with it. The water softener is quiet and the reverse osmosis provides excellent tasty drinking water. The reverse osmosis alone will save me $20.00 a month in water delivery services. I wish I can comment on the installation of the product but I live in an older home with quirks which made the installation slightly more difficult even a plumber. That's to no fault Aquasure, my house was made in 1940. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Poorly engineered and manufactured. The whole top disconnected 5 months after I bought it. My garage flooded and I had to immediately bypass it. The seller has no customer service nor support here at the US to fix it and Amazon is of no help. Buyer be warned!!!

I am giving a four-star rating for only one reason: the installation. The purchase is a 64000-grain water softener system complete with a top-of-a-line RO system and a whole house filter. I considered Culligan and Kinetico systems but found them to be too expensive for my budget. I am a DIY type of guy and looking at the installation online convinced me this would be a simple 2-day installation. A plumber quoted $300 dollars for a one-day installation. Has previously stated, I am a DIY type of guy. I scheduled one day to install the PEX-A piping to the filter and run the PEX for the house system. The next day installed the ball valves on the PEX and configure the piping to the tank and cut over the house system(see photos.) Problems surfaced with the manifold clips and knowing how tight the control head should be on the ION tank. The installation instruction failed to tell me where to place the manifold tightening clips on the tank or rather I missed that important part in the owner's manual. The manifold immediately blew out from the ION tank upon applying pressure. Shut the system down, had to reinstall the manifold on the tank, re-check the manifold alinement and seating, and re-installed the holding clips on the second screw boss. That problem was solved (see photo) with a day lost. Two days later a leak between the control head and the ION tank, flooding my utility room. Called a plumber friend who saw where the leak occurred and quickly solved the problem by tightening connection the between the control head and the tank. It took both of us to rotate the ION tank filled with water-soaked resin while holding the control head in the correct alinement with the piping and manifold. After those problems were solved the system came online with no leaks. Next tackled the RO system, considering my age, dexterity, and plumbing ability, I believe the RO installation went smoothly. Placed the filters on a drawer slide to conserve space and accessibility (see photos). Found the instructions were explanatory and easy to follow plus the package included all the necessary fittings for installation. The question is would I recommend this package to a friend, answer is yes. I would also recommend having a licensed plumber do the installation.

I originally tried to hire a local home services company to install the system. However, the quote was $1100 and the installer told me that because the resin tank was laying on its side, it was no longer useable because of chemical mixing. His advice was to buy his system for three times the price! I initiated a return, but after tech support assured me that chemical mixing was BS, I decided to keep the system and try to install it myself. Luckily, 90% of the plumbing was already done because I was replacing an old broken water softener. The instruction manuals were so well-written and comprehensive that although I'm no plumber, I was confident I could do it. I went to Lowes, got some pipe adapters to match the supplied connectors and the best flexible hoses they had. Also, I cut off the existing IN and OUT connectors and replaced them with sharkbite pipe fittings with the proper hose connections. No soldering required! The adapters and hoses cost me another $100. I installed the water softener carefully following instructions (see pictures). I then took on the reverse osmosis system for my kitchen sink. I was again lucky because I did not have to try to drill through my ceramic sink. I placed the filter faucet right next to my main faucet (see pictures). This installation took about a half-hour and it was a breeze. After performing the initilization procedures, the system is working great. You can taste the difference in the drinking water, and the regular water feels completely different. My house has three full bathrooms and so far so good. This system saved me $1100 in install costs and I highly recommended it especially for those who are somewhat DIY competent.
