I bought this as a water agitator, but it was too powerful for my little 5gal. Ended up using it as a pump (go figure) to do water changes. Slow and steady… it works.

When I took it out of the box I felt it was very cheaply made. Once installed in the tank and turned it on it was terrible noisy and loud. I unplugged it immediately. I wouldn't Subject my fish to that. Definately would not recommend.

I got this little pump to move water around and it did a great job. For only $10 worth the buy and I don't really regret purchasing this as I can use it for a different tank down the line. But I do have shrimp in my planted tank and last night I heard this weird sounds for 5 seconds. I didn't know what it was until my lights turned on and there I see pieces of one amano shrimp throughout my tank. So I decided to just take this item out of my tank. Overall good product for the price just be aware it's not so safe for shrimp and probably snails.

I have no experience with this brand whatsoever, but I've head that in the US is quite popular, so I had great expectations. Unfortunately, device is not working at all, completely dead. So I wasn't able to actually test the quality nor efficiency of this brand.Yeah, so it's a no for me.

Put this in my tank and i have to say i was very impressed by the power and how quiet it runs. My old Maxi was getting noisy and i had to keep shutting it off at night.The one thing that a few not so great reviews said is that there small fish would get suck in and shredded as yes it is quite powerful. Well i have a few small guys also so this is what i did. I took a few zip ties and put them around the inlet slots as to cut down the size of the openings. I put 2 in the back where the Suction is the strongest and 1 in front. Now the openings are to small for any fish to fit thru. It does cut down the power alittle but you hardly notice it. For the money not a bad pump at all.

El modelo 1250 me parece excelente en términos generales:Sin ruido, muy buena potencia, precio muy bajo y excelente calidad en los materiales de fabricación. Lo tengo en un acuario de 320 litros con peces pequeños del lago tanganika, este generador de olas lo recomiendo ampliamente.
