I have a full life & wanted a low effort pet so I purchased some African frogs. The tank they came in got filthy in short order. A friend suggested getting a different tank. I spent several evenings looking for a better situation for my frogs. I took a leap of faith & bought this product. It is practically silent so it doesn’t disrupt my students. It is well lit so I can enjoy watching the frogs. I am very glad I chose this product as a beginner because it is so easy to set up & maintain.

Aqueon made improvements on the old tank. This one has a more efficient pump, and it's very quiet!

I have this aquarium in the two gallon size…love it! This one has the same filter system but on a one gallon tank which is too strong of suction and causes the fish to get sucked on to it! So mad! Total waste of money!

The perfect size tank for a long term beta habitat. Although it does come with a secure divider, the filter makes one side a slight bit darker. When just used for one beta it's not noticeable.I also have a second one of these where I let my live-bearer fry grow up. I just added a sponge filter over this filter's intake tube. Perfect and healthy.

Nice little tank, but has never been truly clear. The water flow is strong, but the filter is weak, if that makes sense. There is always a film on top of the water.

Great for a few fish like 2 or 3 small ones. The filter has a bit of a problem keeping the water clear but it works.

This tank is the perfect size for a betta, or for a starter tank for a kid with 1 or 2 tiny fish. I have it on my desk and it looks great. The tank design looks nice and the size is exactly what I wanted. It is also nice and easy to put together with all the parts and items needed to begin. That is all I have good to say.I have had tanks of various sizes with various types of sea creatures all my life and have had great success (all fresh water). I am no rookie to tank maintenance but can not for the life of me keep this tank clean! I can not go 2 weeks without tremendous growth on the walls and plants. I do not want to stress the fish out by cleaning the water too frequently, and it is a lot of work that frequently, but it looks horrible. The longest I have been able to go is 3 weeks, the water I took out was absolutely disgusting. I have had bettas before without filters and never had a problem, they were always in glass bowls so maybe it is the plastic of this tank?I am also worried the filter is damaging/damaged his tail. I wish I had a picture form when I got him but I think the upper section on his tail has become shorter. He often wraps himself around the filter and just hang out there, he does it by choice. I know he is not stuck because if I drop in food or place a finger to the plastic he effortlessly swims to it. Even if he likes it, I am worried it or not good for him.

This tank is great...doesn't leak like others and looks really nice. Filter works great to keep the aquarium clean.
