Replaced a 4” RC lift with these springs. Lowered the Jeep about 1.5” and the ride is much better. Still fit 33” tires with OME greasable shackles.

Supposedly the best riding YJ leaf spring. Time will tell. No bushings included, and you have to buy the special ones from OME. Not a huge deal, just a PITA.

Not sure if it's a problem with the steel or what the issue is but my first trailride out I bent a spring. It's on a Suzuki Samurai so it's not like I have too much horsepower. Ordered another and hoping it was just a bad batch of steel

These are excellent springs, better than anything available other than high dollar custom springs. I replaced my front set that finally started sagging after almost 20 years of wheeling my YJ. They lifted the front about 2 inches over my saggy OME springs although those still had an arch. They ride awesome and flex like crazy

These springs work great for a yj spring conversion on a cj7/cj8. They are not military wrapped! I unfortunately was under the impression they are. These are the heavy duty 2.5" lift variety. They are 2.5" wide and 1" longer than stock cj8 springs. The static height is approximately 1-1.5" more (higher arch) vs a 2.5" lift spring from skyjacker or RC.They are soft and flexy. For front application the + is obviously the fixed eye. Loosen the clamp bolt and spin the degree shim 180 degrees. It's about a 2 degree and will help with caster.Good luck!

Great springs, they've really changed how my yj rides. Quite a bit smoother than the 2.5" superlift that was put on by the previous owner. We don't get beat to death offroad and bumps in the road are much less jarring as well. Don't get me wrong, it's still a leaf sprung yj, but these springs do not disappoint. Don't forget to order the bushings as well. http://www.amazon.com/ARB-OMESB57-Old-Bushing-Bush/dp/B004P9J7QU You only need one set per spring, not 2 like the other reviewer stated.

Amazing how great of a ride these created. I installed them on the front of my '81 CJ5 with a winch bumper and it has a 6 cylinder engine.
