This really helped expedite my arrow building process. Before I got this, I was using a target point clamped in a pair of vise locks to set my point inserts. This really helps installing and removing nock points (as long as you're not using epoxy or superglue). It allows for a more comfortable grip and smoother insert install.

It screws in and holds up well to me yanking the inserts out. I use a lighter to heat up the tip a bit before screwing it in. I think everyone who's broken theirs didn't heat it up and just tried to King Arthur out the inserts without melting the adhesive.

The shank is to short to install HIT inserts for broadheads or field points

I don't know many people who use these, but I had to add it to my arsenal of tuning tools.I've heard some guys talk about these, especially if your super fine tuning your arrow shafts,there might come a time when you want to take a fraction of a inch off your arrow length etc.and this makes removing those glued in inserts a much smaller task.

Simple. Works well. Is probably a bit over priced; just not quite as badly overpriced as most everything else for archery.
