Pros: Double bolt on limbs, Substantial string, Decent arrows, Decent wrist guard, 3 arrow restsCons: Cock and Hen Fletchings / Feathers are incorrectly oriented, Quiver is very light duty, Wood riser finish is average at bestUses: Beginner Archery, Setup for guests, Throw in the truck for quick access, Beat the neighbors cat with itObservations: This was a surprise. I have purchases several low end / beginner bows from Amazon. What intrigued me about this one was the wood riser and double bolted limbs. I would rate myself an above average archer and practice almost weekly. I have a normal draw length of 30 inches and this is 28. But I purchased it for three specific reasons / purposes: 1) The wood riser and double bolted Limbs 2) I wanted a platform on which to test custom made arrow rests 3) I wanted something I could throw behind the seat of my truck and not worry about it getting damaged and could access it quickly in the event a Ground Hog needed to be dispatched - can't stand the creatures. They are meaner than you can imagine. This bow fit the bill for all three. It is very affordable, sturdy enough to do the job, and it is surprisingly EASY to shoot and bring on target even with a modified / shortened draw an No special sights. I cannot vouch for the listed draw weight, but to me it feel close to 40lb. As another reviewer mentioned, the Cock and Hens Fletchings / Feathers are in the wrong orientation relative to the nock, but the arrows are "shootable" and still accurate enough. I definitely would and will by it again. I need another one to keep on the tractor.

I don't know why they didn't build the riser so that the arrow would shoot from the center of the string. It's off center by a couple inches which will impact accuracy and power. The riser also feels kind of unfinished and blocky. Outside of that, it was easy to assemble and I like the accessories it comes with. The draw weight feels a little light for a 40# but that's alright. It's probably a decent starter for the value but if you have a few extra bucks, grab a sinlada Noble 8 instead.

This bow is so fun to shoot and was easy to set up! I used pliers to get the finger guards on the string, and I had to be mindful while placing the arrow rest on the handle in the right position. However, it's perfect for backyard target shooting or hunting small and medium-sized game with broadheads. This meets the legal draw limits of many states and is strong enough to take deer from about 40 yards. Check with your local jurisdiction and ensure you have the proper permits beforehand. Great product!

For around $50 getting a 30lbs or 40lbs bow set with everything you need is very good.Very easy to assemble the bow with the included hex tool and the direction given. The only difficult part was trying to slide the two rubber finger guards through the bow string. Had to use a plier to pull it through.Another issue that all 6 arrow has are the placement of the 3 plastic vane/feather known as fletching. When you load the nock on to the bow string the odd color call the "cock" should be facing out instead it's one of the "hen" is facing out. So the best solution is to try and loosen the nock and turn 45 degree and re-glue it back or just get use to using the wrong hen color vane pointing outward.
