I bought my 6 year old nephew a bow and arrow, kids version but real. He needed a target so we got this. The target is great. Long story short. My sis in law set up the target. In front of a bunch of windows. You can guess what happened. Broken window!Make sure you set this up without windows behind it. Pro tip.

I enjoy this target, it made out of thick straw which the arrows sink into well but are easy to pull back out. It seems to last a long time as the coils of straw seem to push aside as the arrow enters rather then cutting and unraveling the straw bundles

I have a 60lb 8in power stroke crossbow (not compound) built to SCA combat archery specs. I am shooting wooden shaft bolts, and my first test went in through 4of the 7 layers. I will have to see how it wears over time, but I hope to get at least a year out of it.

I got the thickest target possible. We have been using it for a little over a month now and so far so good. The only problem that I have is that with the holder, it does not hang straight and tends to want to turn. The ribbons at the top run parallel with the target if they ram front to back, you could hang one on each side of the frame and it would hang straighter.
