I’ve been using these pages for several years when I decided it was time to organize and store my negatives according to date. 7 rows accommodates a roll of 24 exposures if your lab cuts your negatives in 4- exposure lengths. And, since you can sometimes get 25 or 26 exposures on a 24 exposure roll, 7 rows is better than 6 imho. There are available 3-ring, fully enclosed, plastic binders that will hold about 50-60 pages each. Makes organizing a breeze! Being able to write notes on top of the pages allows you to date the negatives as well as giving you quick, easy access to finding negatives based on content.

If you know what these are for and have a need for them, these sheets will do exactly what you need them to do. The plastic sheets are sheer enough to clearly view negatives without undermining the strength/effectiveness of the three-ring hole punches along the edge. The individual channels have a lip for easy negative feeding and retrieval. I needed to organize and digitize my mother's five decades-worth of family photo negatives (a lot of handling of a LOT of negatives, and heavy wear and tear/stress on the hole punches -- flipping back and forth through the assembled binder) and these sheets endured. Recommended.

A quality storage sheet for organizing, protecting and visualizing your old 35mm negatives. I put all my negatives in these sleeves and labelled according to roll and date. Next step is scanning them which is made simpler by viewing without touching. Negatives are easily slid out for scanning and replace just as easily. My only suggestion would be to have the binder holes highlighted in some way to aid visualization while placing in the binder brackets.

I just started getting into 35mm photography. I cut and scan negatives myself, so I wanted a place where I could store them. This pack generously provides you with 100 sheets (!) with up to 35 frames per sheet. That's ridiculous. Each row can hold up to five photographs, and you can label the top of the page with the film's date and notes, for when you need to go back and rescan a negative.The pages are open on each end, which made me worry that the film was going to fall out, but so far I have not experienced this issue.Finally glad to have a place to store all my negatives, free from dust and finger prints!

Pros:The plastic film is substantial and flexible. Very easy to load negatives with extra width to accommodate the lead in/lead out strips that tend to be longer. I found that to be of particular advantage because I could leave the processor's job sticker on the strip (part of my cross-reference and tagging methodology) and didn't need to make additional cuts like I was with the pages geared for 4 frames by the same manufacturer.The write-on strip at the top of the page is a very nice feature. With other brands, I had only clear plastic to write on. This is fine to read when you have the sheet out of the binder, but when you are searching a binder, the text blends with pages below it.The hole spacing was perfect for a 3-ring binder as expected. These will accommodate multiple styles of binder and have 7-holes total. The pages are approximately the same width as my 8x10 sleeves and intermingle in my binder without issue. I like this because I can file select prints with their negatives as a visual point of reference.Cons:While overall I am highly satisfied with this product, reinforced holes would make me more comfortable with the longevity of the sleeves. The plastic is substantial as I said and will stretch rather than tear.36 frames is my norm for 35mm film. This sheet is geared for 35 frames. I can economize the loading of my film and obtain 37 or 38 frames. In a perfect world, one roll of film would always be maintained in one archive sheet. This is not any kind of issue for 24+3 rolls of film.I am working with 100+ pages in a 4" 3-ring binder.

Not knowing what I should buy I relied on other reviews before buying this product and I made the right decision.Since most of my negatives were processed for me by various labs around the World I have loads of 4 frame negative strips, since each sheet hows 7 strips this is perfect for the many 24 exposure films that I am archiving. For 36 exposure rolls you will have to use 2 pages, not a big deal since my negatives are more valuable than the sheets that hold them.To put my money where my mouth is, I got through 1 packet of 100 already and am just about to order another one.Update, April 2013. I just purchased my 3rd pack, these things are great. I recently had to rescan some rolls and had to take the negatives out of the sheets rather than just put them in. These negatives had been in the sheets for over a year by now and they came out just as easily as they went in; not bad. I would recommend these to anyone who is serious about making sure that their negatives are safe.
