I bought this set for the small NPT taps which are hard to find in a set, as I plan on building a multi-regulator and air line setup for airbrushing models, and the ratcheting handle was a big bonus.The handles and accessories are good quality and seem to work well so far, and I must give credit where it's due in that the ratchet handle and tap vise are well made and functional for the price - just the ratcheting handles from bigger brands I looked at before settling on this can cost as much as this entire set.However, the hardness of the taps and dies is severely lacking in at least one example. The M4 - 0.7 tap in the picture didn't even make it through one hole in 1/16 aluminum plate before galling and stripping. Used the correct drill bit size for the hole, though I figured that aluminum has a tendency to gall and it might not be entirely the tap's fault, so I tried it in a 1/16 mild steel plate, where the performance was even worse.I have not yet tried the other taps or dies and will update to reflect accordingly if the small tap pictured was an unfortunate one-off manufacturing defect.UPDATEEvery tap and die I have used so far from the set exhibits similar problems. Cheap taps and dies, beware!

I appreciate the completeness of this kit and what feels like more-than-decent quality. Ive only used it to rethread some u-bolts that needed cut down, but this did the trick. Time will tell if the individual pieces hold up.

Amazing quality and great price. So far all taps and dies I have used have cut nicely and have never chipped threads or wore out and even when I don’t have the right drill size and have to use a smaller than recommended size have not broken a tap

The tap and die set has come in handy with my project car. I initially bought to rethread an exhaust manifold and it worked well. I quickly found I needed to restore more threaded fixtures to install the exhaust. I've also use the tap set to extend the threads on a rod. I'm happy with how well the set is performing.

I’m using this set in my shop to re-tap and clean threads on vintage autos. It has plenty of sizes and seems durable.

Great product, now to keep it safe and away from those that don't like buying tools. Hopes this set last as long as my old set bought in 1974.
