These did keep my feet dry, BUT! I've owned several pairs of Ariats. All have been pretty decent. These were very comfortable out of the box. I work in a wet environment, Hawaii. I've kept up on treating the leather and keeping them clean. These boots lost thier shape so bad that my feet were sloshing around in them. Hot spots and blisters followed. Didn't even last 7 months. Opted for a new pair of Ariat treadfast..not as comfortable but seem to be holding thier shape.
