This particular model is constructed from 304 stainless steel. 304 stainless is high in nickel content, allowing the bull bar to easily resist water, road salt and rust and maintain its mirror-like polished finish in spite of the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, textured black steel and semi-gloss black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Ram 2500 or 3500 and Dodge Ram 1500, Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 (see application info to verify fitment).

I liked product, but packaging wasn't good ..my bull bar had a dent in skid plate..no satisfaction.

Looks great, really adds to the appearance of my Ram truck. Installation was pretty easy, but the directions could have been a little better done. It is holding up really well, and get a lot of compliments. I added two LED light pods, the holes are already there and plugged with rubber plugs. I added their tow hooks and the license plate bracket as well.

Very well built and the proof is in the pudding as less than two weeks after I installed this on my 06 Ram 2500. I hit a deer that seemed to come out of nowhere. Unfortunately Bamby, nor this bullbar did not survive the ordeal but my truck did, with nothing more than some paint removal from the bumper. I never thought if would need this so soon after I installed it but it definitely saved considerable damage to my truck. So putting one of these on your truck is both an investment and an insurance policy. The Aries brand is well worth the few bucks over the generics. I do have one small complaint with the installation instructions. They were very feg about the orientation of the mounting brackets. Took me nearly an hour just to figure that out. But once I did the rest was a breeze. You should know that you will have to remove the tow hooks to mount the brackets. but I understand that asies makes replacement hooks that mount on these brackets somehow, something I'm still considering. I've already ordered the new bull bar. Insurance replacement was not too difficult thankfully. If your thinking about it, think no more. They look great and are very functional.
