The guard itself is nicely made and of high quality. The two straps are not up to the same quality, they are almost all Velcro (12") and a very small section at the buckle (1/2) is elastic. I find it difficult to keep the guard firmly in place on my arm. The guard covers the arm well, but i for see difficulty in the near future because i'll be stretching out the elastic section. I would have preferred 100% elastic straps UPDATE : it’s been a year and the guard is standing up well to shooting every day, still not crazy about the belcro
