Works with Spectrum for Internet and WiFi. However does not Support Spectrum's Voice Protocol ! ! ! Original Description on Amazon said it Worked with Spectrum ! ! !

I "matched" this modem with the one my ISP provided but charged $20 monthly. In the process, I gave up the ISP's phone chip that fed my landline. So now, I'm using the cell phone instead of a "chip" that I didn't realize had replaced the physical phone line attachment.

The WiFi is strong and my computer has a good, strong, signal and hooks up quickly. It was easy to set up and use. My wife's Ipad works well with the WiFi and so does my printer.

Great product and easy to install. My internet provider (WOW) provided this modem, but later upped the lease fee to $14 per month. Purchased the exact model from amazon for $70 which will pay for itself quickly.

I had this modem for 6 months. It has been very slow and no longer will connect to internet. My IP came to look as well and it cannot be fixed.BAD PRODUCT DO NOT BUY

I ordered this product to replace the one I am renting from the cable company and to switch to OOMA. Due to the necessity of having to keep my current number and not able to have it ported to the new carrier at this time, in an attempt to install my own personal modem for this new line with a separate new phone number, the cable company refused to activate it because another phone service would compete with them, through cable service they were providing.. So I am unable to rate its performance at this time. It did charge up the battery OK, and seemed to be fully booted up but that was as far as I could go. I do plan on keeping this and utilizing it in the future. There appears to be nothing wrong with the modem itself, just my cable company will not cooperate. I did note scratches on the front of the modem, and it is obviously an older version of the model. I ordered the exact model as the one the cable company is providing, but theres is a much newer model. I am OK with that as long as it works properly when I do install it in the future. I gave this 4 stars only because of the scratches that were not noted in the description of “Used-Very Good”. It was packaged very well. I almost had to have an engineering degree to get it unwrapped (that’s a joke, Folks!). Have a nice day.
