Very easy to use and set up. Nothing wrong with the lock. The pages are detailed and secure, leather on the outside is glittery. Bought by a 10 year old who is very very happy with it.

I was looking for a journal for my niece who is 10 that did not look too juvenile and had a lock that she requested. The journal is nice and well made. The embossed butterflies were her favorite. The cover doesn’t scratch either. This journal was exactly what I was looking for!

I love my journal. READ THE DIRECTIONS on setting your lock #. I sure didn’t. However I was able to figure out the random numbers that I accidentally picked. Overall I’m happy.

Book feels sturdy, like the pages, have c weather and date memo options, lines. Binding fabric seems robust we will see how durable it is.
