Purchased the unit from Amazon.com Services LLC.Used the equipment once and on the second attempt, it would not power up.Since it was delivered on October 4, 2023, Amazon will not authorize a refund or return.Upon contacting Yorkville/ArtProAudio, I was informed that they would provide a return authorization as all such purchases had to go back to Amazon and that despite being a Yorkville warrantied produce, that was their stance on this issue. So a once used, less than 60 day old product is somehow my issues and my issue alone.DO NOT BUY ANY YORKVILLE EQUIPMENT AND MAKE SURE YOUR SELLLER IS NOT AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC.

I wanted to run 3 tom mics in and feed into one channel on board.. The output on it was not adjustable enough it with all three of them plugged in it threw way way to much output. I tried adjustments I even took it apart to see if something was incorrectly done/blown/ maybe missed it all looked fine. I have alot of ART stuff most of it has been great, sadly this was not

I did the music for one of the Christmas Eve services at our church this year, and our sound board was a couple of XLR inputs short for the number of singers I needed to mic. I bought this and hooked it up, and it worked beautifully! I was able to mic all my singers, and the two mics that required phantom power worked perfectly fine with the phantom power switch turned on for those two inputs. There was a slight hum when I first turned on the ProMix, but that turned out to be because the gain on the main mixer (on the channel the ProMix was plugged into) needed to get turned down. I was able to get a great mix for my singers and was able to hear them throughout the whole space. This was a great option that's WAY cheaper than buying a bigger mixer.

Works great. As advertised. I wish it had XLR out instead of TRS, but what do you want for a sub mixer of this size and price? It's a great little gadget to have in the sound engineer's bag o tricks.

With a growing team we faced a problem of channels. Our 16 channel board was just 2 channels shy of our new teams setup. After a lot of research trying to figure out how to add these I found the Art Promix.I thought my sound engineer was going to snub this purchase and insist on the board we are looking at for the future. But he didn't, he gave it a try.It works great. We put all of our backup singers on this mixer, it goes out of the board into our compressors and back into the mainmix and it sounds excellent. We were really worried about the noise, but in our mix, there hasn't been any noise added.Great solution when you just need one or two more channels and aren't ready to fork over 1000s for your new mixer.

The noise on this unit was totally unacceptable for professional use. I was hoping I'd find a cheap field mixer solution for video work since field mixers start around $500. I occasionally need to mix down multiple mics and feed them to the XLR inputs on my video camera for live event shooting. I plugged a dynamic mic directly into the camera input- absolutely no audible noise floor at all. I ran the same dynamic mic through the ProMix (gain pots all the way down for the other channels, phantom power and low pass switches off) and heard a huge increase in the noise floor. Same mic level and gain settings on the camera, etc. FYI, older reviews on other sites have mentioned crackling and noise when adjusting the gain pots. I didn't hear that. Other than the noise issue, the audio quality from the mic sounded totally normal which makes me think the unit was operating normally. Too bad, most would consider the noise level unusable. Not sure what the other reviewers who've given 5 stars are using this mixer for. Maybe in a live music situation you wouldn't notice the additional noise over a PA system?? Anyway, not recommended.

This item works exactly as described. The only thing I noticed was a slight amount of high frequency hiss introduced into the system when using this mixer over using individual mics. But since I am only using this for mobile purposes it will not be a problem. I wouldn't recommend this mixer for high fidelity recording but overall I am well pleased with this purchase.

I cannot lay enough accolades on this product. Its truly portable, insert two ULTRA-LIFE 9-volt batteries and this thing will work everytime without the hassle of a wall wort for well over six months of hard use. The signal is very clean for what it does. With a gain control for each channel there's no need to be a sound engineer to make adjustments during a gig, just reach over and adjust. It's size is wonderful, fits anywhere. I've owned this product for several years and it has never failed me, I'm sold on ART products.
