The matcha tea ceremony represents a kind of artistic life, which concentrates on the art forms of tea ceremony, calligraphy and painting, flower Taoist, incense Taoist and zen.Matcha is a green tea powder, also known as "mocha", which originated in the tang dynasty.In the southern song dynasty, zen masters suen sen-ichi and dae-ying were introduced to Japan, and matcha was used in the tea ceremony, which was brewed thick as bean soup and stirred with the brush used in the tea ceremony until a large amount of foam was produced.Finally, pour them into each bowl and hand them to the guest to drink.
For over 500 years bamboo has been used to create the traditional Japanese tea whisk. Conventional metal whisks leave you with bitter tasting tea. We honor that tradition using high quality bamboo to create our authentic matcha tools. Bamboo is harder than maple wood, yet ultra lightweight, which makes it the perfect resource for our matcha tools.
First wipe the bowl clean. Use the bamboo scoop, take two or three scoops of matcha powder and place them into the bowl.
Then pour the boiling water into the matcha bowl, mix the matcha powder and water with the whisk, and stir to create a fine and dense foam to taste the authentic matcha tea.
After enjoying the matcha tea, fill the matcha bowl with hot water, to clean whisk, and finally put it on the whisk holder to dry.

This product came looking exactly as depicted in the product photos. It is a beautiful and quality-feeling set. It even has a helpful instruction manual with a couple recipes for beginners like me. It all came packaged very neatly and tightly in plenty of cushioning so that nothing was damaged. 100% recommend this set.

I ordered the green and was very impressed with the quality. This is my first matcha ceremony set and after using it this morning, I love it. The bowl is solid and has some weight to it. The whole set appears to be high quality. I always just used a standard metal whisk to blend matcha lattes every morning, but when that whisk started to discolor and rust I bought this set. I was surprised to see the bamboo whisk was so much more effective at blending the matcha and water. It took less time and effort. The bowl is a bit large and heavy to handle with one hand if you don't have large hands. I'm used to having a handle to hold for pouring. I ended up spilling so it'll take a little getting used to. But even so I would highly recommend this set!

Firstly, I love this muted pink colour, it is so pretty! This set includes a flat spoon for scooping the powdered matcha into the bowl. The bowl has a pouring spout. It also includes a bamboo whisk and the whisk holder to aid in drying and to make sure it keeps its shape. This entire set is handcrafted which make it feel special. Tea time becomes a calming ritual.
