The matcha tea ceremony represents a kind of artistic life, which concentrates on the art forms of tea ceremony, calligraphy and painting, flower Taoist, incense Taoist and zen.Matcha is a green tea powder, also known as "mocha", which originated in the tang dynasty.In the southern song dynasty, zen masters suen sen-ichi and dae-ying were introduced to Japan, and matcha was used in the tea ceremony, which was brewed thick as bean soup and stirred with the brush used in the tea ceremony until a large amount of foam was produced.Finally, pour them into each bowl and hand them to the guest to drink.
For over 500 years bamboo has been used to create the traditional Japanese tea whisk. Conventional metal whisks leave you with bitter tasting tea. We honor that tradition using high quality bamboo to create our authentic matcha tools. Bamboo is harder than maple wood, yet ultra lightweight, which makes it the perfect resource for our Matcha tools.
The set includes:
Matcha whisk, traditional scoop, matcha bowl, ceramic whisk holder, tea cloth, scoop holder, matcha powder strainer.
Step 1
First wipe the bowl clean. Use a bamboo scoop to take two or three scoops of matcha from matcha power caddy and sift it into the bowl.
Step 2
Then pour the boiling water into the matcha bowl, mix the matcha powder and water with the whisk, and stir to create a fine and dense foam to taste the authentic matcha tea.
Step 3
After enjoying the matcha tea, fill the matcha bowl with hot water, to clean whisk, and finally put it on the whisk holder to dry.
Step 4
The last of the last, wash the matcha bowl with clean water and dry it with a tea towel.

Bought it as a gift for my friend, and she absolutely loved it! It’s nice for people who are casual matcha enjoyers. The set is nicely packaged and looks lovely.

I have this on display at work and I also use it occasionally. It is a beautiful set with all necessary components for making matcha tea. I haven’t perfected the stirring yet but will in time. I recommend high quality ceremonial matcha. Honor the beauty with good quality tea.

Very nice and sturdy tea cup. Whisk works well and sits nicely on its holder. I have enjoyed using this with matcha green tea.

I am totally addicted to matcha tea and this kit really relaxes me ... the whole zen of it all. I wisk it in the bowl and then add a little almond or oat milk and maple syrup ... mix and I drink it right from the bowl. Super easy to clean (bowl is dishwasher safe), the bowl is a good size so it's easy to wisk without splashing all over the place and also to add other ingredients. Wisk is easy to use and clean and place on the little drying stand. It's a very nice set and I like the color.

Lovely blue color and nice to have all you need to make Matcha. This is my first tea set for matcha and I am not disappointed. I do wish the bowl had a little type of spout so that it was easier to pour into a mug.

I bought this for my sister for her birthday. She loves it so much, and uses it daily. She said she wanted to cut cut back on spending out, and making her own tea. It's cute, and the quality is great.

It was a cute set for what I paid. It was a gift, and was NOT packaged properly, so the lovely carry box was smashed. The set was undamaged, and her birthday was the following day. So I couldn't gift it in the box. The cork doesn't fit into the top of the tea storage bottle. Just take off the fabric and it fits. My daughter liked it though, and has used it. She's too sweet to complain, so as far as I know, this is an acceptable set for the price. Thank you.

The quality of each item is fairly good but there is a lot of variation in the colour of the ceramics. They items don’t really match.

Although this is my first time buying a “traditional” matcha tea set, I feel as though I can assume that this, particularly the whisk itself, is not the best quality. Throughout my usage of the whisk, the bamboo pieces seem to be going from curved to straight at the ends.. not sure if this is normal, but I definitely don’t prefer it happening.Bowl , whisk holder and everything else are great though and I really enjoy using my set daily.
