These are a great deal and will work great for a football gathering. These are colored napkins so they aren't as absorbent as a large thick napkin. As with any other festive printed napkin, there is some compromise. You won't be using these to clean huge spills, but they work great for guests eating normal football fare. They'll add a lot of fun to your Superbowl party as well!

I purchased this set of football themed cocktail napkins to save for my next super bowl party with friends. They offer a neat theme: one with the middle of a football with stitching, and the second with a picture of the field turf with yards marked. When I got these they were very papery. Definitely not something to wipe up a mess with but would work if you were more about just a pretty napkin.
