A very close friend passed away after a short illness. One of things he was known for was his affinity for flip flops. He also had a lot of tie dyed shirts. I used food coloring to dye a roll of small, satin ribbon and tied them around the loops. I put them out at his memorial for all to take if they wanted. It went over very well. There was only one (in the two bags) where the chain was broken from the shoe and I used that to make the little sign.
