This cover deteriorated and began to spontaneously rip and did not protect the wood from the weather in less than 1 year. It is exposed to sun. It easily tears with light pressure now.

I'm on at least my third cover. The cover will last about a year before the sun fades it to lite gray and the wind rips it to tatters. Does the job while its new.

Bought in October of 2023 (had a little over a year now) and went to open it to smoke some turkey with the wood I have and it tore in several places. Pretty disappointed. Plus it faded with the sun. Have to purchase another one to keep the wood dry during this winter.

I was a little shocked when taking this firewood rack cover out of the package, it is quite heavy and very thick — exactly what we needed for protecting one of the two firewood racks we have immediately outside our back-of-the-house sliding glass doors. It was heavy enough for my husband to come out and help me wiggle it up and over our 4’ tall rack; it fit perfectly. Then it was a simple matter to roll up the front flap and stack our split aged firewood in preparation for this coming winter. The front flap then rolled down, the wide velcro strips on both sides of the access flap effectively sealed the wood inside so securely that I know even our semi-frequent wind-storms (and soon enough… snow and ice storms) will never be able to penetrate or rip the front access flap loose. For such a low price ($19.99 as of this writing) we are extremely happy with this firewood rack cover… FIVE STARS!

This firewood cover fit our 4 foot firewood rack perfectly -- it's roomy in the right places in case some of your logs poke out here and there. I was very impressed with how thick and heavy the material is. We initially put it over the rack with no wood on it yet, just to make sure it fit. With no wood, it looks like a deflated mess and a good wind easily tips it over. If your wood oile is very low, that could be an issue -- make sure you always have a decent amount of wood on the rack so that this cover doesnt act as a sail and topple it over. Once we had the wood piled in, there was no problem. The velcro openings make it easy to access the wood to use or add more. We were using a $15 tarp before, which looked terrible. This cover is priced at only $5 more than that as of this review, and it is far superior to a tarp. This helped us tidy up our backyard nicely. I definitely recommend it!
