I've had several hi hats thru the years and they have all been a certain size and this one isn't it.

The clutch was well built but only fit a 6mm rod. Mine is 7mm, which I consider standard, so I returned it.

Very nicely made part. But it was too small to fit on the rod, and I had to take a small round file to it to make it fit.

This is NOT a quick release clutch. It is just a standard clutch. That being said, it is a decent one.

This product is listed as a quick disconnect but it is most certainly not. It is a standard threaded clutch.

Includes two felts and the clutch itself.Fixes my issue with my hi-hat clutch slipping along the shaft since this design does a better job of holding the clutch in place. Cheaper than name brands, but works/looks just as well.I was under the impression that the screw design is quick (as opposed to using a drum key for a set screw). I think the other poor reviews expected something akin to Tama's quick-set cymbal mates.
