Works great but the thin divider section can be bent and weighed down a bit by heavier items. Not a deal breaker but more thickness would make this perfect.

As other reviews stated , these are not heavy-duty, but they were just right for a shelf over my desk into which I can slip various folders or notes on current projects.

I have used even beefier bookends for big books, but these are quite sturdy and sizable. No where is this revealed in the description, so I was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for white bookends with an architectural touch -- and got sturdy ones as a bonus!
