I got the Artistic Wire, 16 Gauge Silver Plated Tarnish Resistant Colored Copper Craft Wire to make jewelry with. The wire works fairly good, however it seems a little hard to bend to me.It also seems to scratch and nick easily, even when you use smooth pliers, it seems like you hardly touch it and there is a mar on it.I have used other wire that I thought had better qualities than this, so I won't be purchasing this brand again.Also, the shipping took way longer than I expected.

Not easily pliable, and reveals a steel core when bent. Clashes with the artificial coloring on the exterior and kind of defeats the purpose. It is sturdy, however.

hello, if you need something to create a very strong base for a design, this 10 gauge wire is it. it is very sturdy and can still be shaped into any design. some people will need smooth tip needle nose pliers to create the smooth final shapes, but remember that grooved surfaced pliers will scratch the smooth artistic wire. this should be used for making a base structure as it is extremely sturdy and fairly rigid. but, 5 feet does not go very far, so design with care. the silver color stands out nicely. a great product and delivery
