Cuts well for my embroidery projects; however when cutting cotton batting or foam the squissors seem to dull. Wish I could sharpen the blades again...they still cut cotton but dull on batting, felt, flannel. I just use duck scissors now in those cases but I wanted an all around squissor. For the price, they do a good job.

These snips work great for my sewing/ embroidery projects. I have one at every machine. I especially like them for trimming applique pieces. So easy and precise - at a fraction of what they cost at a sewing shop!

I love having three of these so I can have one by several of my sewing machines. Instead of grabbing like scissors, you pick these up and squeeze so they are much easier to use when trimming thread.

This was a package of 3 snip scissors, only one pair were sharp. The other 2 would not snip threads.

I used these for personal grooming and first aid (when applicable). They are easy to use and very sharp. They don't tear my hair out when used to cut/trim in sensitive locations.I highly recommend these to anyone who thinks they might be useful, b/c they are. *I don't recommend using on metals, wires or hard materials like metal as it will likely damage these scissors.

I am tired of buying expensive snips that only last a couple months. Yes, I am probably not the most careful with them, but accidents do happen and occasionally they get dropped onto a hard floor. In my experience, once they have been dropped they will never cut the same again, they shred the thread, not cut it; and another $20-$30 down the drain. I decided to try these snips, figuring that if I did drop them in a couple months I am not out as much money. So far I am impressed. They are a bit longer (5"), than my usual snips (4"), but I don't have any trouble holding or using them. I use them primarily as thread snips on machine embroidery. I've had no issues, they cut each time without shredding the thread. I haven't dropped them yet, and really try not to, but my studio has hard surface flooring, which is good for clean up, but obviously hard on snips. I hope I don't have to replace these in the near future, but if I do manage to destroy a pair, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I purchased these because they are listed as “curved”. They are not curved at all, they are straight. They work well and are sharp, but are not curved. So, now I have 3 pair of straight snips and no curved ones.....
