Totally a great value! This kit is fantastic. It has everything needed for several sewing projects for kids. I particularly liked the size of the cutouts, they are perfect for little hands to work with. The kit also includes peel and stick patches to color and stick. All the pieces are pre cut and pre hole punched. This is just a really great activity kit, and I would highly recommend it.

Great way to learn simple sewing! The projects are cute and colorful. Having them pre-cut and pre-punched was a plus. We could focus on threading the needle, trying to not knot or tangle the thread, and making our stitches look consistent. The felt was great because it didn't fray. The needle worked well and wasn't too sharp so no worries about pricking a finger and bleeding on anything. Our nine-year-old worked on these independently and her projects turned out great! She felt good about her efforts. After completing these items, I bought her a few felt squares and she used the needle to create a few more things. I am glad I ordered this.

This was the perfect craft for my creative 9 year old niece. She opened it up right away and got right to work. It’s about what you’d expect quality wise for a kids sewing kit. It was easy to understand how to use and doesn’t need much instruction if your kid is naturally crafty.

I got this for a 10 year old who wants to learn how to sew and i figured this would be a good start. Turns out shes way more advanced than this, but her 5 year old sister loved it! The 10 year old spent about 10 minutes putting the llama together and lost interest in the other ones after she made one. I think it really depends on the kid and their abilities, but this is for younger ages.

My 7 year old son has been wanting to "sew" so I was excited to try this set. With some help from me to thread and knot needles and show him the stitches, he has had a good time with the set. It makes a number of cute little projects that can be gifted to friends and family. It is straightforward and easy to use for any kid with parental supervision.

This is a nice kit for kids that is both fun and teaches them how to sew. The needle does not have a sharp point so there is no worry about being poked, and the it comes with a bag of stuffing so their kids can make their own stuffed animals/key chains/etc. It also comes with plenty of string/yarn. Very cute!

This was a ten year old girls first attempt at learning simple hand stitches. In the first session, she has made the veggies: avocado, carrot, and the peas in a pod. They are so cute and she was so excited to finish them and planned to bring them to school to show her friends. They turned out well, and she's looking forward to next weekend when she'll make the cord keeper unicorn and sloth pencil hugger. As her godmother, this was a very satisfying project to help her do, and created an interest in doing more. She wants to make the rest of the set and continue to practice the whip stitch and blanket stitch. Ultimately, she wants to learn how to sew and make clothing and accessories, and this was a great first step. The best thing about this kit is that she could see results quickly. It's also simple to undo stitches if she made a mistake, which teaches patience and consistency. I enjoyed the time with her, and seeing her excitement at the finished pieces was a joy! Highly recommend this as a fun activity to do with a child. The kit has all the felt pieces drawn out, cut out, and holes ready for sewing. There's a thick, plastic needle and embroidery thread in three colors, plus some notions for some of the other projects. The bag of cotton batting is easy to use to create three dimensional little pillows within each piece. The peas in a pod was so cute with each pea stuffed to be round and fit into the pod pocket. Love this set and how happy she was to make something that she could be proud of! Highly recommend.
