The Man Behind Wairworthy
From a young age, I've loved flight. Growing up, the most impactful Christmas present I ever received was a flight simulator yoke. I put hundreds of hours into those games during my childhood.
My dad earned his pilot certificate and bought a Cessna 172 around the time I was in high school. This was the airplane I flew my first 10 hours of training in. Fast forward to 2020 and I decided it was time finish my PPL.
During my training and afterward, I was searching for an aviation brand that appealed to me. One that had high quality equipment, great looks and features to boot. Unfortunately nothing like that existed. Most products seemed poorly built, unappealing or prohibitively expensive. Like many pilots, I opted to use a bag designed for a purpose other than flying. I knew something had to change.
My main skillset is in creative direction, marketing and product development. I've spent the last 10 years generating millions of dollars for the companies I work with by creating products, world class marketing content and brand identities.
I believe this set of skills and my passion for general aviation makes me uniquely qualified to bring this flight bag and future Wairworthy products to life.
Pilots have an incredibly small selection of accessories to choose from. My goal is to create gear that not only functions, but make pilots look as good as they feel when they go flying.

Love this bag. It’s great and fits everything I need for a solo flight or check ride. The only thing I don’t like is there is no dedicated pen pockets.

Lots of pockets and sleeves keep all my equipment organized while the bag overall is pretty compact. The quality feels good and the bag looks clean as well. My only issue is that the iPad/laptop pocket on the top gets pretty tight if you have your headphones in the bag.

It has space for an iPad, sunglasses, headset, pens, notebook, radio, and water bottle. I took everything I had in two separate spaces (headset hardshell and small messenger bag) and put them together in this one bag. It seems durable, and I’ll update if I have any issues down the road!

I needed something to hold all my stuff plus extra room for things like a hat, gloves, windbreaker, water bottle, etc. this fits perfectly under the seat of a 172 or in the back seat of a Cherokee.Plenty of room for two headsets. Nalgene. Radio. Garmin ADSB receiver. Garmin inreach. Flashlight. iPad mini in big case. Battery pack. Extra batteries. Glasses. Leatherman. Plane documents / POH. Puffy jacket. Beanie. Gloves.Really an astounding bag that’s well laid out and plenty of pockets and places to keep things organized and not bouncing around. Rugged material and a comfortable shoulder strap. (FYI it ships IN the bag, not loose in the box).

I just received this new flight bag, and it has exceeded my expectations so far. The build quality is outstanding, with durable materials that feel like they can withstand frequent use and travel. The compartments are thoughtfully designed, providing ample space for all my essentials, including charts, headsets, and even some space for snacks to bring along. The padded shoulder strap makes it comfortable to carry, even when fully loaded. One of my favorite features is the dedicated section for my electronics, which keeps them secure and easily accessible.
