Don't have a kid but it works perfect for the one location on my table you can't use a full stick. Nice build quality. While awkward to shoot with as an adult, feel I get a nice solid hit all things considered.

I'm a short, 5'2" woman who found adult length cue sticks awkward to use. This 52" stick is perfect for me. Its length and weight are just right.

I dislike the label as “kids cue sticks” as we needed a couple of 52” sticks for our slightly smaller pool table area. We’re very happy with them. Nice and straight and the weight is perfect.

The diameter of the cue is thicker than an adult cue, making it more difficult to hold in smaller hands. It works and is better than weilding a long stick, but would like for it to be narrower.

Bought 2 (42” and 36”) for the tight spots in the room, has a solid shape I just wish they had a little more weight to them,

A surprisingly good cue. Straight as an arrow, well balanced, and good hitter. Bought it for the grandkids, but my wife likes to use this cue over the cues we got with our original Koda play kit.

I needed a pool cue for my mother. I had originally bought her a regular sized 58 inch cue for her, but she's not a tall person and the 58 inch cue was just too big for her. I didn't account for her being kid sized, lol. This cue stick being at 52" was the PERFECT fit. It is longer than a Shorty Cue, but still shorter than a Regular Cue. Anyone who is 4' 10" - 5' 2" who finds Regular Sized Cues a little large will be happy with this 52" size. It also comes in a variety of colors and you can choose Grip or No Grip, if that matters to you. I went with the Brown No Grip because this is what my mother likes in a Pool Cue. The Pool Cue itself is straight and feels good quality. I recommend this Pool Cue for anyone who wants something 'just a slight bit shorter' that won't be harsh on the wallet. Great for gifting. Holidays are coming up fast.

I had cut off a full size cue with hopes of using that cue in a couple of tight spaces we have in our designated pool room/formal dining area. The problem was it didn't have enough weight. This Cue stick solves that issue. It feels like it has the weight of a full size cue stick but at about half the length. It appears that the tip can be replaced with the standard felt tips used with normal length cue sticks, not that it needs to be replaced at this point, just saying. It's also straight, I had ordered a short single piece cue from another vendor that was so warped it was impossible to use. The tip seems to be a slight bit thicker than the long cue stick, but that isn't an issue for us. The only complaint, and I'm not sure it's not an issue with any cue stick in the "price range" that I like...is that the threading on the handle is a bit loose. Like I said that seems to be an issue with most of my cue sticks so I won't ding this stick for the price I paid. If your on a budget and have some tight spaces that you need a short cue stick, I recommend this one. No I didn't get mine for free, nor did I get one of those emails requesting a positive review. I'm simply happy with this cue stick.
