This DA works extremely well, it is quieter then i expected. I have several air sanding and buffing tools, this is by far the quietest. Responds well to lower air pressure when working in tight sensitive areas without having to bump it to start like many DA sanders/ buffers do when using lower air pressures. Overall I'm impressed with it after about 20hrs use so far.

Bought one about 2 years ago still works fantastic case is cheap but for 70 bucks its a great deal and to the one star review of air leaking out the bottom that's where the exhaust is so don't pay attention to him I do find for more delicate things such as paint its easier to control the sanding with the regulator set a little lower

This product works awesome and doesn't use much air at all. The smaller backing pad does get hot and want to come apart after a bit of use, so I used some hot glue to glue my back on. I would by this again in a flash.

When I ordered the kit I expected it to be a polisher but it's just a mini da sander. It works well for sanding but does not polish as I had hoped. My friend has an astro polisher and it does a much better job. The orbit of the da is too small to really polish anything well, unless it is super fine.

good tool for small places inside the bumper covers etc.with some practice you can used it like sander and polisher too.the single thing - it has too high speed and need the air regulator.the discs are rare, but I cut 2 pieces 3" from 1 6' used disc. works well.

I started out looking for a 3" Polisher/Sander, This has all of that with a Hook & Loop mounting with a few sanding pads as samples I believe. They have a cloth back until they he finer than 600, then they use a wet&dry paper. up to 1600. I haven't seen a accessory pack thru Amazon yet, or what the prices would be, although they are available at any Body Shop Supply House. It does anything the Standard D/A sander can do with better control on small items, and hard to get to places. It does work rather well, the air motor runs smooth. It is a better quality tool.* There is one thing missing ! That is a air control, to adjust the RPM or speed of the disc. But for an extra couple bucks you can add your own. They are a standard 1/4" NPT The Carrying/Storage Case is nice, It is not a tool that I would take out on a job. Although it keeps the dust out and the spare disks all in one place. Everyone has there preference? Very well priced quality tool, & well worth the money spent.

Astro's quality control must not exist, at all. I put air too it, and it just leaked out the bottom. So I checked the manual to make sure I wasn't supposed to prep anything different. nope. So I pull the air inlet assemble out, and it's just JUNK slapped in there, no thread seal, double o-rings, and it just leaks. It's just 100% defective. I put some teflon tape on the threads, and the POS stripped out when I threaded it back in trying to get it tight enough to not leak air. What a pile of junk.
