This will be the last scraper you'll ever need. It works so well that you need to take caution when scraping soft materials so not to damage the surface.

Used it to remove silicone gasket on a transmission pan mating surface. Worked wonders--fast. Glad I got this.

I had to do the dreaded head gasket on my John Deere riding mower with a Briggs & Stratton engine. This is the second time after about 90 hours of engine time I had to replace the head gasket because of a design problem. The last time it took quite a bit of time to get the head clean so I decided to buy this tool for scraping off the head gasket material that was left behind this thing worked like a charm. If you need to scrape something that needs to be perfectly clean this is a definite tool to buy.

This tool works excellent to remove old gaskets and sealant from surfaces. Fits very well in the hand and is comfortable to use. It has been a durable tool so far. This model may be a little wide for some jobs.

I tried everything to get the old gasket off the aluminum oil pan and carburetor bowls from my 40yo motorcycle (screw drivers, scrapers, plastic razors, metal razors, foaming gasket remover, nothing worked). After seeing a youtube video of a similar tool I tried this out and it worked amazing, it did take off small shavings of the aluminum oil pan with it but if you work carefully it's not that big a deal and I ended up making a block sander out of a 2x4 and some 400 grit sandpaper and after I got the gasket off I block sanded the oil pan and now it's smooth and ready to reinstall. 100% worth the money.

I like this one so far a bit more than my Lisle carbide scrapers that I've had for the past couple of years. This works very efficiently, and feels good to hold. Just needs to come as a smaller headed version too, and a long reach option wpuld be good.

Used for gasket scraping on vintage motorcycles. Some of those head gaskets get baked on over the past 45 years and there is no great way to remove them. Razor blades and gasket release sprays do help but this is going to be my go to from now on. Saved me hours and hours of work already.I tried a cheaper version off Amazon first, it worked okay, but this works that much better, the premium price tag is definitely worth it. A++

Title says it. This thing is awesome at the job it's designed for and you better be careful or you'll be removing metal from mating surfaces, it's that sharp and good. A single stroke can remove quite a bit of leftover silicon gasket material, leaving clean metal in its wake. Use it correctly and it will quickly do the job, use it poorly and you can damage parts so be careful and practice on areas that can deal with a little damage. I ordered this because I saw Eric O on his South Main Auto YouTube channel using one, he recommended it. I'm currently doing an engine swap and needed to remove the intake manifold, valve cover and oil pan. The valve cover and intake manifold were very easy to clean up, as was the block in those areas. The oil pan would have been a pita before I got this tool, with this tool it was a breeze and only took a few minutes to remove all the old silicon gasket/sealant material. I cannot recommend it highly enough. This thing is one awesome tool.
