I was easily able to fit 4 gallon bags in each bucket. You might need a mallet to get the lid ob.

It was VERY hard to get the kids on and when I finally got the kid on the bucket, I CAN’T get it back off! Terrible waste of money! I bought these buckets to store dry goods in, but now I’m going to have to buy different lids just to be able to use the goods inside since the lid won’t come back off.
