ATG "Perfect Color" plastic colorant

ATG Perfect Color - Plastic and synthetic top dyer - color refreshing
Different weather conditions, daily wear and environmental factors let the plastic surfaces of your vehicle fade or lead to brittle, porous surfaces. With the plastic colorant from ATG, your car, boat, bus, motorcycle or caravan gets its shine back. At the same time, you maintain the plastic parts permanently with this treatment - the coloring is abrasion-resistant and water resistant.
It's that quick and easy:
Step 1:
The surface of the plastic should be thoroughly cleaned before treatment. Small parts or dashboards are best treated when dismantled. This makes it easier to treat areas that are particularly difficult to reach.
Step 2:
Work the colorant into the plastic surface in a thin layer and in even, circular movements. In this way, you will obtain an even and deep-acting coloration of the material.
Tip: You can also use "Perfect Color" to recolor plastic parts.
Step 3:
After about 30 to 60 minutes, the surface is dry to the touch. The plastic surface is fully loadable after about seven to eight days. The color range of "Perfect Color" can also be perfectly mixed with each other.
Step 4:
Repeat the process for very damaged, porous, brittle plastic surfaces or very weathered covers. This way, you will obtain an even result and an even overall appearance.

Il prodotto è veramente valido. Di facile applicazione, aiutandosi con una mascheratura mediante nastro carta. In ogni caso se si eccede dai bordi, risulta di facile pulizia se rimosso velocemente. Sono già un paio di mesi che l'ho passato e rimane ancora perfetto, nonostante piogge e lavaggi vari. Altamente consigliato.

I bought Back to Black first but it didn’t work for the damage I had. I needed something with a black dye. This did what I needed.I’m not sure how it’s going to hold up in the Florida sun, but I’ll update along the way.

Me parece la mejor forma de reparar los plásticos sin gastar mucho dinero. En la foto se ve como los tenía y como quedan en la primera pasada. Ahora lucen bonitos. Repetiré el año que viene pues aún tengo producto para hacerlo, pues creo que cunde bastante bien si se siguen las instrucciones (humedecer la zona)Sin duda lo recomiendo sobre todo por lo fácil de aplicar, es como dar betún a los zapatos. Lo que más se tarda es en delimitar la zona con cinta para no manchar la pintura .

Take this product with the realization that over time sun will damage it like it did your plastics prior.If I had to guess seems like I’ll get a couple years out of it and that’s all you can really ask for. Make sure you clean your plastics good first. let the product dry on some sunny, low humidity days, for atleast a week or so after applying before you touch it or clean it.It has handled washes fine, but if you are rough with the plastic after it will come off a tad and after a lot of UV exposure can leave a little black on your fingers, which I would expect.My fingernails took it right off the paint on any area I slightly crossed over whike applying. Didnt need to tape.Definitely was worth the 30 minutes or so to apply on the entire Rav4 Plastics. Bottle was plenty for this car. Car looked completely different after.

Wow! It restored the black plastic wheel trim around my tire!I bought a used vehicle and one of the black plastic wheel trims above the tire had some white residue or scratches and I just happened to come across this on an Amazon search.Directions: I soaked the round sponge that came with the product in water and squeezed out the water excess so sponge would be damp.I put on a glove for the one hand I was going to be applying the product with.Then I applied some product to the damp sponge, and then blotted the product onto the surface I wanted to cover.It looks brand new!I don't know how this product will hold up over time and through car washes. But at least I have a good size tube if I need to do touch ups.

it goes on easy and good coverage, blends well, but does not soak in 100%... I removed excess with mineralspirits and applied a second coat to get full depth of color...will seal with a lubricant....will see how it holds up in the sunlight over the summer....update: I didn't have time to apply much of this the first time, so the above was only a test...but the color did last through the summer, which says a lot in the long, hot desert summers here...I'm now using it to recolor the trim on my SUV...I first removed all scum and grease from the surface and it seems one coat is going to work. This product is quite thick, but it did not dry out in the open tube; it goes on easily without dripping yet it spreads well. I think two tubes will be enough to cover all the trim and that is a good value...easy cleanup with alcohol or prep spray....

2001 Honda CRV with really badly faded bumper and trims. Product is extremely easy to use (wear gloves!), provides colour depth and dries quickly. It doesn’t rub off when it’s dry. I accidentally got polish on it - no tell take marks or stain left. The difference in the trim is night and day. One tube was sufficient for all the trim on the entire car. Dye transfer on my arms (I’m a klutz!) washed off with soap and water. Very pleased with the results. Highly recommended.

Worked better than I expected! Dyed my grill from gray to black no problem! Was pretty surprised by the results considering you just wipe it on with a sponge.Used about 1/4 of the tube doing 2 coats on my grill.

Despite following instructions exactly, doesn't cover moderate scuffs well and has some streaking. Went over it again and the results are the same. Better than nothing I guess, but hardly lives up to the claims. It's like thick shoe polish and even when buffed or applies in circles or straight lines, it still produces some unevenness. Not thrilled. Will probably return product.
