There are bottom drainage grommets, a waterproof PVC bottom, a bungee cord on the front to hold a jacket or clothing layers and reflective piping for increased visibility. For the price, I was very surprised at how sturdy and well made this ski boot bag turned out to be. I have owned other brands and the issue was always the fact that after awhile the zippers break. The zippers on the Athalon bag are thick and strong. Another thing I was impressed with was the amount of gear it carries. Aside from the boots, there is plenty of room for my helmet, goggles, gloves, ski pants as well as my wallet and other small things like sunscreen and power bars. I bought one for myself and one for each of my two sons. The fancier the colour the more expensive so we just bought the black, night vision and the black and silver (which is more grey than silver). Couldn't be happier with my choice.

This was a Christmas gift and I LOVE this bag. It does have so many compartments that sometimes I forget where everything is, but after a while of keeping things in the same places, it's getting easier. It's got extra room too so I can put almost all my ski gear in it in our ski lease to keep it all out of the way. We bought one for my daughter who is a tall 8 year old and it's pretty big for her, but she loves it too. It's great that it has that handle on the back so I can help her carry it from behind especially at the end of a long tiring ski day!

I finally have a boot bag that is more than just a boot bag. I like how there is room for my helmet, gloves, goggles and even my jacket and pants if I want. The materials and good quality and it is well made. Now when I go skiing I have everything I need and I won't forget anything and it is easy to carry. Saving up for the model with electric heaters, but this bag is just fine for now.

Very roomy. My 8 year old and 10 year old each received. We put in both ski boots and snowboard boots with room to spare. Both are capable of carrying. Looks like this bag to built to last.

This bag is great! Very high quality material and zippers. Not flimsy at all. Holds all the necessities with plenty of pockets. This bag holds my ski boots, ski pants and jacket, hat, gloves, helmet, goggles, hand and toe warmers with room for more! And so comfortable to carry. It has wide, padded shoulder straps and padding on the part that is up against your back. Very happy with this purchase. I bought one for myself and another for my husband. He has a size 12 foot and his boots and all his gear fit as well.

Best boot bag I have ever had! sturdy and beautiful (got the black Camo), and it fits in the over head luggage on board a flight... fits a pair of boots with all accessories and clothes... I managed to put 2 ski pants, ski mask, gloves, 3 thermal sets (pants and pullover) 3 pairs of ski socks...

My husband told me he wouldn't use the (hidable) straps, but found them handy when he had to carry his own stuff and help another skier who had been injured. We did snip the stitching on one edge of the top inside fabric casing so we could melt the ends of the straps and handle more, given the reviews indicating that the handle ends can strip and pull out (thanks to reviewers who indicated this from their own experience!). We found that these ends could be melted more completely (my husband used a soldering iron for control, since the ends are short) so they couldn't strip and were fatter; my husband then tacked the casing back to the still-hot material, saving me some hand-sewing work. Everything else appeared very well made. He did have to write on it with a silver sharpie for labeling, as it has no built-in shipping tag and reviews say add-on strap ones tear off in airline transit. He had no problems whatever with this on his trip, and was amazed and amused at how much he could pack... and pack... and pack... into this after he had his boots and helmet in the appropriate compartments. He loved it! It carried everything his ski bag didn't. Definitely appreciate Athalon's workmanship in general and would buy other products from them as needed.

I have had 2 failures with this bag with no response from the company regarding warranty service. First one of the shoulder straps rip out and had it repaired by a shoemaker. This weekend the top carry handle ripped out and I expect that I will again have no response regarding warranty service.

This bag is worth every penny. There is ample storage for kids and adults alike. We fit helmets, ski pants, boots, accessories, food, you name it, it goes in this bag. There are many little compartments so that it helps keep things organized. The fabric is very sturdy and wears well. The straps are easily adjustable and fit both kids and large adults well. There are a couple of different grab handles on the bag which helps in the loading and unloading of bags out of the vehicle and into lockers. We have only been using this bag for a few months but the zippers are very sturdy and the bag looks brand new despite being used at least once a week. We have many comments from passers by at the ski hill asking where we purchased the bags as they are so easily toted, efficient storage and look great! I highly recommend this product!

Well constructed, easy to carry with hide-a-way back straps. Plenty of room for boots, helmet, gloves, goggles and misc. ski items. Added value is separate compartments foe each boot, and center compartment for helmet. Is to big to fit in the overhead compartments of small (regional carrier) airplanes, but will fit into overhead compartments of larger airplanes. Also, handles well as checked luggage. Smaller zippered pockets on center compartment flap is an added value. Overall value excellent.

This thing is a great functional boot bag. enough room for your boots separated from your stuff, and can still fit a helmet, gloves, goggles and ski pants. Easy to carry with enough handles to make it easy to carry at multiple angles I love this bag, the most functional, sturdy and easy to carry whether its on my back or just on my arm. Best ever.

This bag is great and holds all my gear. It holds my ski boots (32s!), helmet, goggles, gloves and snow pants plus there is room for more. There are a ton of pockets. The bag has good venting so you can put things away wet. The bag turns into a backpack when you pull out the concealed straps and has extra padding to make it comfortable when wearing. This is a perfect grab and go bag.
