I am sure other people have luck with these but they are so fragile I have a hard time keeping them on the hook. I have caught a few bluegill on them but the trout just steal them. I have tried all kinds of hooks including salmon egg hooks

I tried out a jar of Mike's egg on stocked trout at some of my local lakes and ponds, without a whole lot of success. I'm not sure if this comes down to the product, the way I was presenting it (though I tried a few different approaches) or if Australian trout are simply uninterested in salmon eggs. I probably wouldn't buy it again, as Powerbait works much better at my lakes and ponds, though I would be interested to try it out somewhere where there is a healthy population of wild trout or salmon.

They look good, have not tried them yet, if they are like pink shrimp eggs they will work, caught brook trout on them, appear to be a good bait.

Was hoping to catch some trout with these. When I put them on the hook and cast them out they fall right out of the hook. They are so weak exactly like Jell-O. won't stay on secure. I wouldn't recommend these. sorry

I used it for last few weekends. I caught trouts with it and the pink egg bottle. I landed 6 big trouts last Saturday alone!

Pictures are worth a thousand words...... a 10 in Rainbow Trout, 10.5 in Rainbow, a almost 13 in Rainbow ......I started useing these eggs hooked with half of a worm on a # 8 hook and I started to catch Rainbow Trout (Shark River Park, Neptune, NJ).... I'll admit I didnt catch fish all the time but it was a HUGE improvement...... I was getting hits on Spring Lake in Spring Lake, NJ with these salmon eggs... my other 2 poles I was useing Power Bait / Worm and various lures....No hits!.....give this a try, I think you will be happy

These will work on stocked rainbows better than the standard eggs. Don't know for sure if it's the UV glo or what but we are getting twice as many strikes with these vs the standard eggs.
