ATO 220V 230V 240V single phase to 3 phase VFD VSD, 220V 230V single phase to three phase VFD variable frequency drive, convert single phase to 3 phase for AC motor speed controls, RS485 enabled. vfd 220v input 220v 3 phase output widely used in spindle motor, drill press, CNC, compressor, milling, HVAC, lathe, pumps, conveyors, cooling, fan, and three phase motor. etc.

  • Note:

The rated current of the ATO single to 3 phase VFD refers to the three-phase output current.

The input current of the ATO single to three phase VFD is approximately 1.5 times the output current.

  • How to choose a right VFD?

Except for the input voltage, there are two additional conditions that need to be met:

1. The rated current of the VFD should be greater than the rated current of your motor, preferably by at least 30%.

2. The rated power of the VFD should be greater than the rated power of your motor, preferably by at least one levels.

If you're unsure which VFD is suitable for your motor, please provide us with a photo of your motor nameplate, tell us the input power supply, and your requirements. We'll then recommend the appropriate VFD model for you.

  • Tips on ATO VFD with SN numbers starting with 9000:

Input frequency: 47-63Hz (so 50/60Hz is supported);

Output frequency: 0-1000Hz (Default: 50Hz, if you need the output frequency to be 60Hz, please set: P0.02=60, P0.05=60, P0.06=60, P8.04=60)

  • How to set the output frequency to 1000Hz?

set: P0.05=1000. P0.06=1000 P8.04=1000, P0.21=1

What Real-life Problems can be Solved by using ATO Single Phase to 3 Phase VFD?

  • 220v-240v Single to three phase VFD can solve the problem of power phase mismatch, that is, the power supply is single-phase, and the equipment uses three-phase power.
  • 220V output VFD can solve the problem of power frequency mismatch, that is, the power supply is 50Hz/60Hz, and the equipment power consumption is 0.00~400.00Hz (arbitrarily set).

What are the Benefits of using ATO 1 Phase to 3 Phase vfd?

  • Reduce energy consumption and energy costs: Optimize V/F curve automatically based on the load to realize power save running.
  • Extend equipment life and reduce maintenance.

Note: The VFD does not contain a braking resistor. If you want to adding an external braking resistor, please confirm with us before placing your order.

(Braking resistor is only necessary if you intend to use the VFD for the machine tool and you want to stop it quickly at the same time.

In other cases, there is no need to use braking resistor, VFD itself can realize FREE STOP.)

I have purchased a total of four ATO single to three phase drives now.- First was a ~18kW drive for a stone wire saw. That drive worked very nicely out of the box with easy setup. Then we cut plenty of big rocks.- Now three of these smaller 3.7kW models for 5 HP blower motors. All working well out of the box. I don't have years of hard usage on these drives but I will say off to a good start. There were cheaper options but I went with ATO because they had good performance previously.ATO seems to have their act together. The videos on line help a lot. As usual for a Chinese company the documentation could be better but hey the docs are pretty good for the simple use cases I have for them.Five stars and two thumbs.

We have an old lathe from the 40's with a 5 hp sleeve bearing motor and it works great! Easy to set up, handles a heavy load, lots of features like reverse or jog reverse and forward. Absolutely recommend these units.

VFD was purchased to operate a 3ph sander on a single phase service. Very easy to install, clear directions, and reasonable price. VFD functioned as intended with an added bonus of being able to control sander speed.

I had a 2 hp motor but I bought this unit to put the original 5hp back on it. I programed it to ramp up slowly in speed so it doesn't pop the breaker. I priced this unit 5 years ago and it was $2,000.00 US and now its a few hundred. Big win!
