If you are a machinest or plan to use it all the time get a better one. But if you use it maybe once a month like me it works just fine

Threads were stripped in the base when it arrived , must of been a return that was sent to me . sent back no problem

The page said the magnet was a 130 lb magnet but my six year old can pull it off solid metal, definitely not 130 lb force. The tip of the Guage is not replaceable either which is not ideal.

I was honestly extremely impressed with the dial gauge itself. The gauge is very accurate and functions awesome. The base is also extremely strong and surprised me thoroughly. Overall the base and the gauge is awesome but the stand is a bit wobly and the plastic joints make it feel cheap. But definitely worth the money.

Indicator? Great. Love it. Cheap but does the job plenty well enough for what I'm doing.Stand? Garbage. The hand screws for the clamps stripped the threads on both the male and female sides right out. I've been careful not to abuse it and it still broke. The magnet is fine, I suppose.As I might be so bold to point out, the indicator is useless if the stand is broken.Maybe spend your money elsewhere.

This is junk and they won’t let you return it because they say it’s hazardous. It’s a magnet. They lied about it now won’t take it back.Not good customer service!
