1. How Pymeter control temperature?

Temperature controller is actual Heating/Cooling controller, thus MUST SET ON-Temp to turn ON Heating/Cooling, and MUST SET OFF-Temp to turn OFF Heating/Cooling.

Heating starts at LOW Temp [ON-Temp(1oN, 2oN)], stops at HIGH Temp [OFF-Temp(1oF, 2oF)], thus for heating MUST SET 1oN(2oN) LESS than 1oF(2oF);

In heating mode, 1oN(2oN) is the minimum temp you allow, 1oF(2oF) is the maximum temp you allow.

Cooling starts at HIGH Temp [ON-Temp(1oN, 2oN)], stops at LOW Temp [OFF-Temp(1oF, 2oF)], thus for cooling MUST SET 1oN(2oN) GREATER than 1oF(2oF).

In cooling mode, 1oN(2oN) is the maximum temp you allow, 1oF(2oF) is the minimum temp you allow.

2. Reading temp is inaccurate?

Every Pymeter controller is calibrated before come out of factory, it is reading temp accurately!

Please don't compare it to common inaccurate thermostat、thermometer or temp gun. If you doubt Pymeter controller accuracy, please calibrate with ice-water mixture (it is 32F when ice is melting), and you will see which device is accurate then.

Haven't hooked a dehumidifiers in my cabin that I wintwrize so I can run thw dehumidifiers until a certain temperature and then they shut off for the winter and they're already going by the time I reopen the cabin.

I'm using this in a new greenhouse to moderate temperature extremes. I've got a small space heater hooked up to this, and it is now triggering the heater when temperatures are too low. The configuration is not intuitive, and it took a couple of attempts to figure it out, but now that it's set, my greenhouse is functioning very well.

Used for controlling two separate attic fans. No problems turning off and on at correct temps after running for 2 weeks.

I recently had my attic windows replaced and my thermostatically controlled twin window fan no longer fit. Luckily I two small box fans I could use but they lacked a thermostat. I plugged them into the unit, turned off the optional temp alarms, set the temperatures and was back in business. I can see how some people might find the instructions confusing, but I found them straightforward enough to get it right with some tweaking. The hardest part was figuring out what temps to set. For my purposes I needed to set a temp (85°) to turn the fans on, and a lower temp (80°) to turn them off, once things cooled down. Given some reviewer’s complaints I’ve been checking on it periodically, but It’s been in use for nearly a month with no issues.

Product works perfect! Very easily set the outlets to turn on at 55 degrees and turn off at 56 degrees. Inserted the probe into my hvac duct and now I can have my booster fans turn on and off with the A/C. No more constant humming of the fans all day!

So the concept is exactly what i was looking for. I have a greenhouse and wanted something to turn fan on for circulation and heat on for low temperature The units are cheap and do not last! I returned the first one because the screen scrambled a week into use. There was flashing numbers with no answer to why. I returned and received another one. IT TOO failed four days in use.Unfortunately it was 30* out last night and the freakin device failed. I woke up this morning to a very cold greenhouse. There was a number 2 on the unit and it just freakin quit.Buy an InkBird and get what you pay for!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even at 10 times the price this temperature controller is great at controlling temperature. Couldn't ask for anything better. Really like the bright, easily readable temperatures and lighted indicators for each outlet.For some digitally handicapped people, it might be a little difficult to program. I am 85 and still figured in out in a couple of minutes. It also easy to reprogram and save the new settings.Thanks for a great temperature controller!
