It works, but make sure you have a solid thick mounting point. It should come with stainless mounting hardware for the price. That was ridiculous, but the angled seat mount was nice and makes for more comfortable sitting.

Bought this to put on a TRIPOD Stand. With the design of the stand, I had to adjust the stand to accommodate the base plate. The product worked as i planned it. If you are trying to make a better seat for your boat or deer stand, I highly recommend this product.
