Product is exactly what it says it is. Adjustable, durable, quality material for the price, should hold up well, easy to adjust. I’m 6’0” and this fits just right with no adjustments so if you are shorter and install on a bass boat I would go shorter. Bought a 16” for the back and it fits perfect.

I was tired of the expensive hydraulic version failing and not holding at the desired height. Just set it at the preferred height and no more annoying readjustments due too hydraulics bleeding down. My last hydraulic power pole didn't last 6 months before it started failing.Easy to adjust, reliable and less expensive than the hydraulic version.

Threads on shaft barely turned into the mount bracket. It did tighten, but I was afraid that it would pull loose when sitting on it. It may fit fine on your boat.
