I hate to throw away stuff that just needs a little work, this will repair your boat seat pedestal and get you back out fishing.

I use my Swivl_Eze 2244-T-SS or 2254-T-SS 1.50" O.D. x 25" long seat post for mounting a seat, or on occasion, rod holder. But in time the nylon bushing started cracking up. I purchased this bushing, but found the o.d. of this bushing was too big to fit my post without crushing the 3/4" i.d.. So I lathed the ribs down a bit and press fit the bushing in place and now all is good. But you shouldn't have to machine something for it to work.

Did not directly fit.. had to sand fit sand fit it was a nightmare. Stay away just buy new pedal stoles

Bought two of these. Tested fit on seat and it was perfect. Pounded it into the stand and the seat no longer fit. Had to take a drum sander to the inside hole to get it to fit. For the second one I sanded the ridges off the outside until it fit snug by hand and the seat fit perfect. If you can't fit it into the stand by hand or maybe some soft blows with a rubber hammer, STOP, sand the ridges off a bit.
