I used these dampers under a medium size center speaker on a surround sound system. The speaker sits on a cabinet containing the amp and turntable. At loud volumes the turntable would often skip. It no longer does with these dampers in place. Very good appearance too.

After reading mixed reviews I decided to give them a try.I used three not four as three points eliminate rocking problems that often occur with four points of contact.They made a world of difference in how much louder I could listen to music with heavy bass without the CD player skipping.
