Extremely simple to use; Twist to open, lower the Stylus once or twice onto the ultra-soft Gel with care, lift the tonearm immediately, all the debris will cling, leaving the stylus spotless with zero dust. Make certain the movement of the Stylus is vertical only, with no horizontal motion (platter rotation), or you could damage the needle tip while in contact with the gel.
Cleaning the Gel is easy. Use water and let dry at room temperature (if necessary, you can also use a neutral soap). The stylus cleaner can be re-used and will remain tacky for many years. Why bother with using hard-bristled brushes and over-applying harmful fluids to your stylus? This simple needle cleaner is a green solution that protects your turntable and vinyl for years to come.
The specially designed non-toxic, non-polluting Polymer Gel will gently remove all the debris and dust. We incorporated a magnifying glass into cover so you can verify the cleanness of the cartridge needle tip. Manufactured by hand with lustrous North American Ashwood (Every design will be unique, because in wood every cut have a unique pattern), it meshes flawlessly with the elegance of your turntable. The magnifying lid is genius for inspecting the stylus. Nice wood exterior. The cleaner itself just isn't tacky enough. Really firm makes me nervous dipping stylus in it. So all in all it's nice to look at but doesn't really serve its purpose.

There's really nothing I didn't like about this product. It comes in a nice box with magnetic tabs to keep closed (wish it was wooden but know price would go up substantially) that you can leave out for display. They also took the time to include a rubber insert to keep it from rattling around inside the box, which may not seem like much, but hey, they took the time to add it does just that. That's appearance. Quality wise, I'm impressed. It comes in a lathed wooden half circle that splits apart with ease. Just a twist and it releases from 3 small magnets that hold the base on. What and really like is the top of it has a magnifying glass to help you see your stylus/needle to ensure it's clean. The gel that the needle sits in seems to be of high quality also and can be easily cleaned with just the rinse of some water. I don't usually leave reviews on here but this little item really impressed me. The packaging,appearance and quality of materials make it a REALLY nice product! I take pride in my audio equipment and am always looking for items that look good and function good. This definitely covers all that! Price may seem a little high compared to others, but for you get, I think it's more than fair. Kudos to Audiophile Dealers!

Product is easy to use and works well. The only issue is that you have to line up the tone arm with an arrow in the casing of the cleaner. I am really not sure why this is the case but I’m not going to tempt fate…

I priced others out there and this is by far the most economical. I've seen others and this is basically the same and really it's not mystery to how it works. This is good quality and I feel it really helps keep my stylus clean. I'd recommend

This Stylus cleaner gel is great! Yes, I get dirty needles, this happens while digitizing over 400 LPs that are 30 to 60 years old. Oh those 'scratchy records some will say. Styli (Needles) playing any album, new or old can collect dust. With a limited one, two or three touches this cleaning gel the tip is clean. The use of the gel pad eliminates most brushing avoiding undesired wear and potential damage. The gel pad is easily cleaned also. I recommend its use.

I had never used one of these until last week and assumed it was just a gimmick to sucker vinyl enthusiasts into spending money on “essential” items... I was completely wrong. It’s very easy to use, and I was VERY surprised by how much my needle needed this sucker until now. I pride myself on keeping my albums pretty clean, my collection organized, and lint off my stylus, but this took it to a whole new level. Even the playback sounds better after using it. Props for such a great product I didn’t know I needed!
